2017 Miss Georgia Mountain Fair
Eryn Elysabeth Cochran
 - Towns County, GA

Congratulations to Eryn Cochran of Towns County,GA crowned the 2017 Miss Georgia Mountain Fair. Throughout the year Eryn will serve as an ambassador for the Georgia Mountain Fair during select events, including the 2018 “Miss Georgia Fair Pageant ” held in Atlanta,GA.
 
Eryn is a 2014 graduate of Towns County High School having a 4.0 GPA and All A honor roll during her high school career. She also served as leading point guard on the varsity basketball team.  Attending Columbus State University on a full scholarship she played basketball for 2 years  were she assisted her team in winning a conference championship. She was also  recognized on the Dean's list her Freshman & Sophomore year.  Now attending Young Harris College as a Junior she is on the Dean’s list and named a Gold Scholar Student by the Peach Belt Conference. Eryn is seeking an undergraduate Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish.  Her career ambition is to be a bilingual speech/language Pathologist. Eryn’s hobbies include volunteering at the local food pantry, hiking,fishing,refereeing,running,and wakeboarding.
 
Eryn won the talent portion of the Miss GMF 2017 with her sign language rendition to “Lost Boy”.
 
Eryn was voted Miss Congeniality by the other 13 contestants in the competition.
