2026 MOUNTAIN COUNTRY CHRISTMAS IN LIGHTS

Mountain Country Christmas in Lights 2026 is a holiday treat for the entire family at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, GA along the shores of beautiful Lake Chatuge in the Northeast Georgia mountains.

The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds will transform into a spectacular, magical holiday walk through light show immersed in Christmas music, arts and crafts, food, fun, entertainment, photo opportunities, train rides, and visit with the Grinch, Mrs. Claus, and Santa!  

Event runs 6pm - 9pm Thursday, Friday, & Saturday from November 26th - December 12th.
Open EVERY night from December 17th - 24th*! (closed Christmas Day) 
December 26th - 31st* will be drive thru only.

Admission: $12.00 per person
Children 12 and under Free!
Free Parking!

~ To help keep the experience extra special for our younger guests, we kindly ask that visitors NOT dress as Santa or the Grinch during their visit, as our official characters will be on site for photos and interactions.

*Drive Thru on Christmas Eve & 26th - 31st! We will open from 6pm-9pm. There will be NO sea lions, train rides, Grinch, craft vendors, or Santa. This is strictly a drive thru event. Admission will be $25 per car, cash or card.
