Mountain Country Christmas in Lights is a holiday treat for the entire family! The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds will transform into a spectacular, magical holiday light show immersed in Christmas music, arts and crafts, food, fun, entertainment, photo opportunities, and a visit with Santa Claus! New for 2023 is hundreds of new lights plus a Walk Through Lighted Tunnel!

Things to Do at the Mountain Country Christmas Lights
Cowtown USA
A live exhibit which contains an old time creamery where patrons participate in preparing a cow for milking by hand. Kids get hands-on experiences with the process of making butter ice cream and soap using historic tools and machines in these processes, and they learn the concept of "Home Made" just the way grandma used to do it!

Expanded Outdoor Craft Show
Get all your holiday shopping done at the Outdoor Craft Market! As a part of the Mountain Country Christmas in Lights we have expanded the crafting booths for your shopping pleasure!
The Outdoor Craft Market will be open from 6pm - 9pm beginning Thanksgiving Nov. 23rd through December 23rd.
Enjoy a special Cantata on Saturday, December 9th at 7pm inside Anderson Music Hall presented by Macedonia Baptist Church.
