Know Before You Go

We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience while attending an event at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds!
Below you will find important "Know Before You Go" information pertaining to our facility.
Please review in detail and if you have any additional questions you can call 706-896-4191 for help.



1. No outside food or drinks. (medical snacks will be allowed)

2. No firearms or knives allowed inside the venue including multi-tools, box cutters, etc.

3. All bags are subject to be searched.

4. Clear bags - no size limit (clear bags only are preferred and will expedite entrySmall clutches-must not exceed 5” x 8”. Diaper bags are subject to search and a child must be present for the bag to come in.

Ticket Gates accept cash and credit cards. 

6. Music Hall concessions accept cash and credit cards, but most vendors are cash only. 

7. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.

8. Soliciting, selling raffle tickets, etc is strictly prohibited. 

9. 
All guests and attendees must be dressed appropriately in family friendly attire. Georgia Mountain Fair reserves the right to remove any person from the event if attire is deemed inappropriate.

10. For your convenience there are two ATM locations on the Fairgrounds. For events, the atm can be located at the old post office which is the first building directly inside the gates. For concerts the atm is located in the lobby of the music hall.  

11. There is no charge for parking. The Main Parking lot for events and concerts is located on the right as you enter the Fairgrounds. For events-Handicap parking is on the first level of the main parking lot. For concerts-Handicap parking is located past the music hall on the left. Any person parking in handicap parking must have a valid handicap parking permit. There is a trolly that will act as a shuttle during events and concerts that will travel from the parking lot to the main gate. The shuttle does NOT run after concerts. 

12. Will Call Tickets can be picked up at the Main Fairgrounds office anytime between the date purchased until the day of the event. Day of Event tickets will be located at the Front Gate / Will Call Booth. If you will be parking in handicap parking, it is recommended that you pick up tickets before the night of the show because Will Call is located on the far side of the handicap entrance. 

13. Tickets are typically printed and shipped within 2 weeks of purchase. And typically take 1-2 weeks to be received. If you would like to check on the status of your tickets please call the Main Office.  

14. Age Ticket Policy- For Events- All persons entering an event must have or purchase a ticket. For most events, Children under the age of 12 enter free unless otherwise stated. All persons entering Music Hall must have or purchase a ticket no matter their age. 

15. Re-entry- For events- If you leave and re-enter on the same day but must stop by the front gate before leaving, and have your hand stamped. You may be subject to security procedures upon reentering. For concerts- NO re-entry is allowed. Please make sure you have all items needed before having a ticket scanned upon entry of the concert. 

16. No smoking or vaping inside the Anderson Music Hall. Smoking is only permitted outside the venue in designated areas.

17. Smile! Photo, video and audio may be taken for promotional purposes. By entering the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, you consent, waive all rights to royalties and release the Georgia Mountain Fair of any liability. You agree to your likeness being used, published or reproduced in any and all media which can be used, now or in the future, for any purpose by or in connection with the Georgia Mountain Fair.

18. The Anderson Music Hall is an indoor venue holding approximately 2,900 people. Concessions can include but are not limited to Hotdogs, Popcorn, Pizza, Pretzels, BBQ, Corn Dogs, Nachos, Cookies, Candy, Coca-Cola products, etc Bars include the sales of Beer, Wine, and Wine Slushies.

19. Georgia state law prohibits the sale of alcohol to individuals under the age of 21. Patrons will be required to show valid, government-issued identification and proof of age when buying alcoholic beverages. Please remember that it is illegal to drive under the influence of an intoxicant or to consume alcoholic beverages while driving.

20. On duty security is for the safety of you and other attendees on the grounds. Please respect, obey and comply with all requests made by Security.

21. Georgia Mountain Fair reserves the right to remove anyone from the grounds for failure to abide by rules or become disorderly.

22. Our venue is fully ADA compliant and offers accessible seating options to accommodate guests with disabilities. For the safety and comfort of all guests, wheelchairs and scooters should not exceed the following dimensions: Wheelchairs - Maximum width of 30 inches and length of 48 inches. Scooters - Maximum width of 32 inches and length of 48 inches. If your mobility device exceeds these dimensions, please contact our team in advance so we can make arrangements to best accommodate you.

23. Lost and Found-durning events lost and found items can be turned in and claimed at the information booth located at the entrance of the front gate. After events and concerts all items will be turned into the main office of the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. To locate a lost item please call (706)896-4191.

24. Bad Weather - All events and concerts are rain or shine unless otherwise noted.

25. We know you love your pets and we love animals, too - but they are NOT allowed in the Fairgrounds or Music Hall (with the exception of service animals). Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and shall keep them on a leash or harness while visiting.

26. Georgia Mountain Fair reserves the right to change or add any rule without notice.
